What I do for you :

Pattern Making

From your sketch, a first pattern is drafted, in one size only. your file will include :

  • one digital pattern in dxf/rul
  • a technical file including :
    • the technical sketch
    • the size specification
    • an estimate of the fabric consumption and accessories
    • the technical explanations of assembly

Prototypes

Once the first pattern has been drawn, the toile (first prototype) is sewn up. This is an important stage for checking the proportions of your model, as well as its fit.

After the fitting and corrections are done to the patterns, we can also make the final prototype, which can be displayed in your showroom.

Production

Once the collection finished, we can finally head to the production :

  • the digital pattern, with its grading in all your sizes, in dxf/rul (standard format)
  • the technical file for production, complete and finale, including :
    • the technical sketch
    • the size specification, with the grading
    • an estimate of the fabric consumption and accessories
    • the technical explanations of assembly
    • the history of development comments with advice and remarks for the supplier
    • the complete layplan, according to the width of your production fabric

And at what price ?

As I don't work with the fixed price system (which I find rather disadvantageous for the customer), I invoice at an hourly rate.

Having said that, I realise that this may seem very abstract to some people. That's why I've given you two concrete examples of patterns and their prices, from the development of your drawing/photo to the final, graded patterns, ready for production at your supplier.

I can also give you a quote for the cost of patterns, grading and/or prototypes. Don't hesitate to ask me for a quote!
